what a day

i think i mentioned before that i was finally graduating...yupps i finally completed my thesis!:) and today i had to go to intramuros to attend the baccalaureate mass and get my invitations for the ceremony that will be held on the 17th...just sad that neither of parents would be there but then again its really not a big deal...maybe when im done with my MBA and when i graduate with honors they'd be there...crossing my fingers though i do tend to be complacent so i start off well and end up slacking and there goes the award :p hahahaha

i was with 3 other officemates today and the 7-10 stint that was scheduled ended up 8-1...its a good thing we were on leave as an official business...in additional...jona and i had to go all the way to kamagong just to get our togas since we werent able to go to mapua to inform them of the size...it's a good thing that we didnt get lost hehehehe it's been a tiring day really...and it was so hot...plus the fact that we were required to attend the grad practices so we spent a lot of hours standing up in a really humid gym :p

currently reading harry potter book one...yupps it's book one alright...well mainly because i wasnt really into harry potter before but since my hubby and i will be watching the movie im trying to catch up on reading the previous books..actually i tried to read it before but i found it rather boring but it was probably because i started with book two whice i heard was the most boring among the series...i got to finish book 1 in approx less than a day...it was ok even if i watched the movie before i'll just have to see how long id take to read book 2....

next on my book list....harry potter book 2 :)

weekend update

last saturday,i watched the legend of zorro with my hubby @ shangrila but before that we went to fashion freedom to check out the items there.it was rather disappointing but at least i still got to buy a shirt and he did too...we met up at around 830 and we proceeded to sucat afterwhich we ate at the shang and just roamed around since the start of the movie was still 2 hours away...

we went to the arcade and i lost big time, to almost all the games we played...i sucked big time!!! :p but it was okay we had fun...laugh trip sobra!!na-addict kami sobra dun sa barilbarilan na game...kakatawa kasi pareload kami ng pareload di pa namin ginawang buo...hehehe pero sobrang saya mukha nga may kakareerin nanman kami nito eh :p

back to the movie, it was okay, it had some funny parts...im not much of a movie critic...it was an okay movie for me light and not too dragging :) the character of the kid was cute...ang sutil kasi eh!after the movie we headed to a gaming store and we played counter but we ended up getting a headache...been awhile since we both played the game...so he ended up teaching me starcraft...it was similar to battle realms and the generals which is why i ended up liking it :) we played two games but i still panic everytime my base gets attacked...hehehe we headed home after i dropped by the office, we didnt have dinner anymore since both of us were still full...my baby didn't sleep that day so we went home earlier than the usual :)

food trip din sobra, we had sinigang and a tbone for lunch..ate fic after that...ate crab something and squid ball...

sunday naman,he went to my place,and we just played starcraft and csi :) hehehe talk about computer game addicts :p i played with gimli and gamgee before he arrived and he got to see the puppy that don't look much of puppies anymore :p so i guess that's about it for now...i'll be updating again whenever i get the chance to :)

just a boring day

can a person actually be tired of doing nothing?i didnt do much today at work but i feel so down for some reason...i dont know...kinda sad coz mel (one of the expats @ our office) is leaving on the 15th...she'll be going back to Austin after staying here for 3 months...well she was one of the people who made me feel welcome and someone i get to talk to every now and then...i gave her a few tagalog lessons and actually taught her, her favorite tagalog word.."talaga" hehehe and for her last tagalog lesson from me...i taught her paalam but she said she preferred saying see you...so she's now trying to memorize the phrase i gave her...before i left the office i went by her office and she gave me a really big hug :) teary-eyed she said the phrase i taught her...i will surely miss her!i really hate goodbyes...but then again it really is a part of life and im just glad that our paths crossed even for a short time :)

i also took a video of a few officemates for my friends audio visual presentation wedding...it was fun and i guess i just enjoyed seeing them think of something to say...i'll be doing the part 2 tom and after that jeanette and i will edit everything... :)

had dinner with my bf @ shang before going home...ate quite a lot...on the side though i was looking for a costume for our christmas party...i was thinking of going as pocahontas!hahaha wish i was slimmer though!!!!i'll just have to see what ill end up to be... :p

i guess thats all for now...
